Teddy Bear Nursery
Our on-site Teddy Bear Nursery offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years.
Pam Burton, the Head of Teddy Bear Nursery and Julie Kingham, the Deputy Manager are both NNEB qualified, Julie also has a Foundation Degree in Early Years Level 5. In addition there are 10 members of staff of whom 9 are Level 3 qualified. The Nursery offers the Government Free and Flexible 15 hours Early Learning and Childcare places for 3 and 4 year olds, this begins the term after the child reaches the age of 3, we also take children whose parents are able to access the Free Twos. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and all children have key workers.
Priority is given to students children; however additional places are available for members of the public.
The Nursery is officially registered by OFSTED—Registration Number-221542. The Nursery received an Outstanding grade by OFSTED in March 2011.
