College teams up with Prince’s Trust to deliver Team programme

Huntingdonshire Regional College is joining forces with the Prince’s Trust to run a 12-week Team programme at its California Road campus.

The programme is aimed at jobseekers aged 16-25 years old with the intention of developing teamwork, social skills and employability to participants.

The course will operate on a full-time rolling basis with the first intake starting on Monday 15th May.

Anyone enrolling on the course will have access to HRC’s free bus to get to and from the College.

A residential visit to an activity centre, involvement in community projects and access to work experience opportunities are the main elements of the course that will culminate in a nationally-recognised Prince’s Trust qualification.

In addition, maths and English input will be provided along with support to develop CVs and interview skills.

Taster days will be held on 4th and 5th of May at the College.
