Life Skills and Work Skills Entry Programmes
The Life Skills and Work Skills courses are designed for students with learning difficulties and or disabilities, who are looking for Pre Entry, Entry and Level 1 qualifications in living, life or work skills to assist them to be as independent as possible in our wider community.
Personal and Social Development is integral to all courses. All learners are encouraged and supported to undertake an appropriate work related activity. More information on the courses we run at both Huntingdonshire Regional College and in collaboration with our external partners are listed on the left hand side.
The work area focuses on provision for Learners with Learning Difficulties/Disabilities and offers work/life skills courses across Cambridgeshire.

- Camtrust Design (Impington) Skills offered: Office and Computing.
- Darwin Nurseries (Teversham) Skills offered: Catering and Hospitality opportunities in large-scale kitchens.
- FACET (March) Skills offered: Horticulture, Wood trades, Retail and Catering.
- St Johns College (Cambridge) Skills offered: Catering, Venues and Facilities.
- OWL Papworth (Sawston) Skills offered: Mechanical, Computing, Catering and Horticulture.
