Governance
The Corporation is the governing body of the College. There are 16-18 Governors, who come from a range backgrounds that reflect the community the College serves, focused on strong governance at Huntingdonshire Regional College. There are 11-13 Independent Governors, two Staff Governors, two Student Governors, and the Principal.
The Corporation is responsible for the overall functioning of the College. In general terms, it is responsible for the quality of service that the College offers to learners and the local community, as well as the College’s financial health and strategic direction. The Corporation meets at least once each term and has a number of Committees that also meet on a termly basis.
These Committees are:
- Audit Committee
- Curriculum and Quality Committee
- Finance and General Purposes Committee
- Remuneration Committee
- Search Committee
