Is this course for you
This course is designed for individuals that are already working in a relevant job. The course runs on a roll-on roll-off programme which allows individuals to join at any point during the year. The programme may be carried out by the assignment route or by attracting evidence in the workplace, via NVQ.    

What qualifications do you need to join
No formal qualifications required, however, candidates should possess a reasonable grasp of numeracy, reading and writing and be in an appropriate job role to complete the NVQ.    

What will you study
A total of 5 units to be achieved. All of these mandatory units: * Contribute to operational relationships within the supply chain * Obtain information on the supply chain Optional Units Select 3 units from this group: * Identify potential suppliers for the supply chain * Place orders with suppliers * Monitor and progress the delivery of orders * Monitor the flow of supplies in the supply chain * Obtain information on storage location and facilities * Obtain information on distribution requirements * Monitor the distribution of supplies * Monitor the flow of returned supplies * Monitor the transportation of supplies     

How will you be assessed
An assessor will observe you in your work place, carrying out routine tasks and activities appropriate to your qualification. You will be requested to carry out discussions with your assessor and provide evidence of the work you do.

A range of management or specialist programmes at level 3.
