Care, Child Care and Playwork
With our Child Care and Education courses you will learn about children's growth and development, develop observational skills and obtain an understanding of how to care for children and support their learning.
All of courses include work experience, which will help you to develop your confidence and skills for your future career.
We can offer you:

All members of staff are vocationally trained and have the relevant industrial experience to enable you to receive high quality tuition and guidance. You will be allocated a personal tutor who will help and guide you throughout the course until you achieve your qualification. You will have the opportunity to build and enhance your personal Curriculum Vitae, with opportunities to develop maths and English as needed.
Child Care – CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check
As our Child Care courses require you to work with children you will be required to have a satisfactory CRB certificate. You will be asked to complete a CRB form, the process will be explained at your interview. CRB clearance will allow you to attend work placements that will be relevant to your course. We also offer apprenticeships in Child Care & Playwork, these programmes are designed for those who want to work or currently work in Child Care.
