Huntingdonshire is centred around the beautiful River Great Ouse and its fascinating market towns of Huntingdon and Godmanchester, Ramsey, St Ives and St Neots which have long and interesting histories to be discovered. There are over eighty villages tucked away down country lanes. In the Nene Valley, there are charming stone villages, along the Ouse Valley, tranquil waterside villages and in the west of the District, those with magnificent church spires.

Huntingdonshire Regional College is situated a short walk away from Huntingdon’s vibrant and busy town centre. Huntingdon itself boasts a pretty high street, a large proportion of which is pedestrianised, and two main shopping precincts, Chequers Court and St Benedict’s Court.

St Neots is Huntingdonshire’s largest market town, and offers great shopping on its busy High Street. St Neots Market Square is one of the largest and most ancient of its kind, and a market has been held on the square every Thursday since its foundation in the 12th Century.
