Branching Out - Littleport

Directions

Littleport is approximately 5 miles North East of the Ely roundabout on the A10. Branching Out is located in Grange lane on the outskirts of Littleport. Turn right at the roundabout on the A10 and the centre is about 800m down Grange Lane on the right.

The Centre

Branching Out is a large centre with an on site woodwork shop, extensive horticulture gardens, recycling plant (on and off site), life skills learning centre and a classroom with extensive information communication equipment. The centre also runs charity shops at Littleport and Chatteris.

Courses

Branching Out provides students with life skills training, promoting independence in daily life and external work experience placements. A wide range of work based courses are available to students including woodwork, catering, horticulture, and retail and recycling.

Training is provided in partnership with Huntingdon Regional College. Courses include College Certificate, Wider key skills levels 1 and 2, City and Guilds NPTC entry levels 1 to 3. All areas teach embedded literacy /numeracy skills.
