innovative entrepreneurial programmes run by its media department, allowing students to work with external clients on creative projects and showcase their work internationally.

Practical, commercial assignments are at the heart of the courses for games development, art and design, film and TV, music and games development students.

CRC’s student-run games company, Rizing Games, enables the students to exhibit their own games at world expo E3 in Los Angeles each year – winning international acclaim – while Film and TV students run their own production company, ArcLight, and music students showcase their work through CRC’s own label Morph Recordings.

The college’s journalism students also run their own radio station, and art students regularly work on major designs for leading organisations – all part of an initiative designed to enable students to work on live projects and gain valuable work experience.

The winners of the prestigious awards will be revealed at a glittering ceremony hosted by comedian Alan Davies at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane on 23 February.
