Apprenticeship Levy advice from the experts at CRC

Business experts at Cambridge Regional College will be hosting a seminar on the Government’s new Apprenticeship Levy next month.

The breakfast meeting will take place at the college’s Park restaurant on 10 November, with information and help available for local employers and organisations keen to find out more.

Angela Hughes, head of Apprenticeship programmes at CRC, said many businesses were confused by the changes and how they would be affected.

“There have been several changes to the Apprenticeship Levy and Apprenticeship Funding proposals since it was first announced by the Government earlier this year. This free breakfast seminar will look at these changes and what they mean for local businesses,” she said.

“This event is perfect for employers who want to understand how the new system will work.”

The seminar is aimed at employers who:

  • will be an Apprenticeship Levy payer and want to understand how it works
  • want to know more about the new Apprenticeship Digital Service that all employers, whether levy-payers or not, will have to use
  • want to know how Apprenticeship training can benefit their company

The free seminar starts at 8am on 10 November and finishes at 10am. To book a place, click here.
